After selecting from a variety of colorful papers and envelopes you will learn how to run an antique printing press. Learn the difference between a kiss impression and the bite that makes letterpress so popular today.
Igloo Letterpress was founded with a press inherited from the proprietor’s grandfather. Igloo’s presses date from 1892 – 1974. Once considered a dying technique, letterpress has seen a resurgence in the past 10 years. In this hands-on experience, each person creates their own unique design to print and take home.
The minimum group rate is $150 for up to 10 participants, then $15 for each additional person

Build Your Own Hardcover Book
Starting with cloth, paper and a pot of glue, each participant will build their own book by hand. Igloo Letterpress proprietor Allison Chapman will lead you step by step as you sew your pages and glue your covers together. Each book features archival materials and can be personalized by the participants.
